Barak Kassar

Barak has twenty years of digital branding and marketing and new media startup experience. As founder and creative director of Rassak Experience, he has served brands from Nokia, Ricoh and web 2.0 innovators such as Slide and StumbleUpon. Barak was an early employee at (acquired by CNET/CBS) and Wink Communications (acquired by Liberty Media). He was founder of INBOXTV, an innovative e-mail entertainment company backed by Robertson Stephens .He is a frequent speaker and is quoted often. Barak holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley and a MBA from the University of California, Davis where he was an IMSEC Exchange with Erasmus University in the Netherlands.


Autumn Zimmerman

 Autumn has built a career around education and entrepreneurship. Her first start-up was at age 5, when she turned her mother’s exercise bike into a printing press* and sold her own magazine to anyone willing to pay for it. Autumn has a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She taught middle school in Los Angeles through the Teach for America program. She has worked with the University of Barcelona and local language schools to design and implement new course curricula. Simultaneously, she started a highly successful social media promotions company--- offering big business solutions to local start-ups and small businesses.

David Risher

David Risher is a co-founder of He first fell in love with books at the age of three, when his mother read him The Little Engine That Could, and as a result has been saying “I think I can” ever since. As a General Manager at Microsoft and later’s Senior Vice President of Product and Platform Development, David has been at the forefront of technology; as a Professor at the University of Washington’s Business School, President of Benjamin Franklin International School’s Board, and member of ESADE Business School’s International Advisory Board, he has been deeply involved in education at many levels. David holds a degree in Comparative Literature from Princeton University, an MBA from the Harvard Business School, and speaks English, French, Spanish, and Catalan. He sits on the International Advisory Board of Catalonia.


Kamran Mohsenin

Kamran is a serial entrepreneur with a decade-long passion for building web services. As his fourth company, TasteBook is the perfect cocktail of web services and his other passion, cooking. Prior to starting TasteBook, Kamran co-founded Ofoto, the world's leading online photo service with over 45 million members. After Ofoto was acquired by Kodak (and renamed the Kodak Gallery), Kamran continued to tinker with, reinvent, and often disrupt the status quo to create a number of new products and services. Prior to Ofoto, Kamran founded Tunes Network, an early pioneer in the online music category. With a small team, Tunes Network created the world’s first click-and-play music recommendation engine with over one million licensed samples. Tunes was later acquired by JamTV Networks, producers of Kamran started his first company at 24 to develop and direct market hardware products for the Macintosh. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University.
